Designer Beth ~ December Challenge "Penguin Wishes"!!

Welcome Friends!

Today I'm sharing with you our challenge for this month with the The Crafty Card Gallery design team.  For this challenge our theme was Snow or Penguin. I decided to use the penguin as I have had several other challenges or hops in the past week with snow or snowflakes themes.

Here is my design:

For my card I used this cute penguin.  He's wearing reindeer antlers a several ornaments are hanging from them.  I used some accent paper that looks like ornaments balls and finished with rhinestone jewels and sentiment.  May you and your family have a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

Recipe:
Paper:  Neenah & Reflections
Image: Silhouette
Stamps &Inks : Technique Tuesday stamps & Stampin' Up ink.
Accessories: Reflections rhinestones.

Welcome back to the last day of the hop.  Thank you, for all of your support and wonderful comments.  Today I'm sharing with you another M&D design project inspired by the creative efforts of my daughter and myself.  We both like to craft and decorate together.  We made this wreath together this year and it is already hanging on the front door of our home.

In previous years, my daughter has decorated wreaths then sold them. She then donated a portion of the proceeds to a local charity.  May you & your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Accessories: Wreath, Ribbon & Scented Pinecones

Cardz TV Fall DT Challenge #6 - Snowflakes & Snowmen!

Have you started making your Christmas cards yet?  If not, you still have time. If you already have a good start on your cards we have a challenge for you! Right now we are making Christmas cards, for the CardzTV , "Let It Snow challenge.  For this challenge our Christmas cards must include Snowflakes and/or Snowmen.

*There is a prize for the challenge winner chosen by random.org.  A WONDERFUL set of stamps from Cardz TV

Here is my design:

I like both snowflakes and snowmen but for this challenge I decided to use snowflakes.  I recently learned how to make this card and I must admit it is now a favorite design of mine.

For today's card I only used two papers, you may use up to three paper choices if you choose.  Next, I made the base snowflake with some of the smaller die-cuts I have.  I added two layers of pop-up tape to add dimension and then added a snowflake embellishment.  My sentiment came from the Cardz TV Snow Day stamp set.  As this is our last challenge for the year I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This is the stamp set I used & it
is available here @ Cardz TV

Recipe:
Stamp & Sentiment: Snow Many,, ,
Paper: Neenah & DCWV
Ink: Stampin' Up
Accessories: Jingle bell & 3-M tape

My design:

For the tenth day of the twelve days of Christmas blog hop I'm sharing with you one of my favorite types of card, an a2 swing card.  My card centers on a nativity design cut-out, the real reason for the season of Christmas.

I really like the background paper I used as it sparkles and shines likes stars; behind the nativity scene I also used a shiny pearlescent cream paper.  If I could find more of this background paper in mass quantity I would make this for my Christmas card.  Unfortunately, I'm having trouble individual sheets of Christmas papers in mass quantities in my area.

Paper:  Recollections & DCWV
Accessories: Silhouette

My design:

For day nine I'm sharing with you a tee-pee card.  I used two papers on mine, you can use one or up to three paper choices.  I picked my second paper to go with my embellishments I had on hand.

What is nice about this card is that you can add some ribbon by punching a hole or a velcro dot to keep it open.  Then you can collapse it and put it in an envelope and mail it to a special friend or family member.  I can't wait to make more of this style of card, it was fun!

Recipe:
Paper:  K&Company & Neenah
Accessories: Me & My Big Ideas
