BMC- Circle ~ 3/20/14

Today's card is inspired from our current "Circle" Challenge!

My design:


I had several ideas after I was assigned this challenge.  I finally decided to go with this design at the last minute as it was my favorite.  I found this idea on Pinterest and knew it would be perfect to use with some of my favorite papers I rarely use...and it was!  For my sentiment I used the Whimsical Moon & Stars.

BMC- Green/St. Patty's Day ~ 3/16/14

Today's card is inspired from "Green/St. Patty's Day" Challenge!

 My design:

I decided to color the Happy St. Patrick's Day digital image and sentiment for this challenge. It is bright and colorful and I like the clover scattered throughout along with the happy face just above the clouds.   Have a nice St. Patrick's Day and don't forget to wear green tomorrow!

 How’s that for blog candy?? Without further ado.. here’s my project:




 I thought this clover banner would be perfect for several reasons.  One my daughter and I started a little over two years ago blogging and crafting making banners for a crafty friend and for hospitalized children.  Two, my daughter likes to have them hanging in our house for each holiday/season; I will let you know my husband noticed this evening after coming home that I had made a new one and that she had helped me hang this new one up. =)   

 As I made this banner I got to thinking, not that I'm Irish (by marriage), or that everyone used say that my middle sister & I were Irish twins as we were fourteen months apart to the day, but instead by how lucky I am!  

 I could name all the things that I thought of as I sat at my crafting table making this banner but of course the basic ones flew by family, children, spouse, housing, etc....How are you lucky??

Crafty Card Gallery Designer ~March Challenge 3/6/14



Welcome Friends!!


Today, I'm  sharing with you our "challenge" for this month with Crafty Card Gallery design team. 

For this challenge we we're asked to make a Birthday themed card.

Here is my design:


My husband asked me to make this card for his mother who's birthday is coming up soon as it's on St. Patrick's Day.  I added some green & blue dots for the balloon to help celebrate the day.
It was fun & easy to make.  Now to get it off in the mail!
