♥ •*¨*•♫♪¸♥ ¸ Happy Birthday to you!! ♥ •*¨*•♫♪... ♥

Have you guessed what we're celebrating and what type of cards we're creating during this challenge?  Yes, we're celebrating Birthday's @ Cardz TV!!

You'll have fun creating a special feminine Birthday card for a friend or relative during this challenge.  Did you notice I used three different patterned papers on my card?  I picked my three papers from one of my favorite paper stacks, what three papers are you going to use?

*Note- There is a prize for the challenge winner chosen by random.org, an AWESOME set of CARDZ TV set of stamps!!

Here is my design:

As I mentioned above I used some of my favorite papers for the front of my card.  For the patterned papers I used K&Company.  My white card-stock is from Recollections and at the last minute I decided to change the base from white and use green, so I used a piece of my Stampin' Up card-stock.  Then, I added a small doily with my "Happy Birthday" sentiment and a small butterfly made with a complimentary K&Company card-stock and three Dew Drops.

For the inside I used the same papers I used for the outside of the card from K&Company, Stampin' Up and Recolletions card-stock.  I then added my Birthday sentiment in the inside "May all your birthday wishes come true!". I really like this card, especially the papers and the colors.  I can't wait to give it to a special someone!

I used both the "Happy Days" and the "Good Times" stamp sets from Cardz TV.

Recipe:
Stamp & Sentiment: Happy Days & Good Times,, ,
Paper: Recollections, K & Company and Stampin' Up
Accessories:  Stampin' Up ink and Dew Drops

Child's Birthday with Buttons!

Birthday parties are lots of fun, especially when they're for youngsters. They're even better when lots of family and friends gather to celebrate the event.  Join us during our current Cardz TV challenge.  We are celebrating children & their Birthday's as we make cards for them with brads, bows or buttons!

*Note- There is a prize for the challenge winner chosen by random.org; an AWESOME set of Cardz TV stamps!

Here is my design:

For my card I decided to design something fun, a gum-ball greeting card.  Kids have a hard time walking by a gum-ball machine without asking their parents for change to buy a gum-ball.  They're bright, colorful and yummy too!

After using my "Happy Birthday" sentiment, I added a colorful assortment of buttons to replicate gum-balls and to meet the challenge guidelines.

I used the "Going in Circles" stamp set from Cardz TV.

Recipe:
Stamp & Sentiment: Going in Circles,, ,
Paper: Recollections
Accessories: Embossing folder by Lifestyle Crafts, Stampin' Up ink, Misc buttons on hand & Zots.

Thank You with some Red, White & Blue!!

Happy Red White & Blue and Independence Day too!!  During this challenge @ Cardz TV we're saying Thank You!!  We'd love for you to join us in making a Thank You card, just please remember to only use red, white and blue for this challenge.

*Note* - There is a challenge prize for the winner chosen by random.org; an AWESOME set of stamps by Cardz TV.

Here is my design:

For this challenge I decided to make this patriotic flag card design.  First I cut strips of red and white paper with the help of my cutting machine.  I then placed them on my card, this was harder than I anticipated!

Next, I cut by hand a blue 3x3 square and placed it in the upper right corner. Then, I cut four shiny white stars and added red dew drops as embellishments.
Inside I added my sentiment "God Bless You".

I used the Encouraging Thoughts stamp set from Cardz TV.

Recipe:
Stamp & Sentiment: God Bless You,, ,
Paper: Recollections & GCD
Accessories: Stampin' Up ink, Dew Drops
