SURPRISE! Baby Shower honoring Shawnee's new baby, Felicity!

 SURPRISE, Shawnee!!

Welcome to and Felicity makes 10!!!! What a great family and what a blessing. Today we are having a surprise baby shower for Shawnee as a gift to her precious new arrival!  We are all blessed in various ways in knowing Shawnee and this is our gift to her!!!
I came to know Shawnee through an Home Schooling organization we serve on together.  We also participate in a on-line Bible study and recently my daughter & I were blessed with the opportunity to meet Shawnee and her family after she and I have been corresponding via the phone, e-mail, and instant messaging over the past year.

We have each made a two (2)-page 12x12 layout for you to post various things to get you started on a scrapbook just for Felicity! We have each taken our own spin on babies and hope you enjoy our hop of loving your new baby as Felicity makes 10!!!!
If you happened per chance at our blog today, We feel flattered but I wouldn't want you to miss a single lay-out. The hop begins with Lynne. If you hopped by with the help of the stork from Lisa  then you are on the right delivery path!

As for blog candy today, since we all love some blog candy --- Lynne, Her Craftiness, is offering a surprise package of goodies from her stash! There may be additional goodies along the way, sooo, don't forget to stop at each blog and leave comments as you never know what goodies there were left behind by the stork!

Recipe:
Base- We used Mambi Baby Girl Sheet card-stock
"It's A Girl" ribbon on edges by Martha Stewart
Letter cut-outs from Mambi Baby Girl Sheet card-stock & we used Kate's ABC cartridge.
Embellishments from K&Company & Jolee's boutique.
Now, that you have seen our fabulous lay-out...you can continue to the next blog stop:
Oops, there's "a little snafu" in the next hop stop & it doesn't get you all the way through to the ending. So hop over to Ellen's layout (but please don't forget to visit Michelle's layout, too).

Again, we wish to congratulate Shawnee and welcome the new precious baby girl, Felicity.

But before you go ... what is a Blog Hop without Blog Candy?

We'd love it if you left a comment here during this Hop, and become a follower here too.  If you do and are selected at random of the winner of our blog candy, we have an assortment of baby scrapbook paper and borders to get you started on scrapping on pages for some special someone(s) in your life!

Remember: to be eligible to win, you must be a follower of our blog, and leave a comment on this post. In your comment, please leave a way for us to reach you, should you be the lucky winner!

Read about our recent visit and we're also guest designers over at....

This week my daughter, Emily & I will be Shawnee's guest designers this week.  We would like to thank Shawnee for asking us to to be her guests.

Emily & I were blessed with the opportunity to meet Shawnee and her family this past weekend in person.  Shawnee and I have been corresponding via the phone, e-mail, and instant messaging over the past year as we both serve on a home-school committee together and we also participate in a on-line Bible study.

We just wish we lived a little closer to one another.  What am I complaining about...a few hours is better than states, right??

We have been crafting for awhile now, but we are fairly new to the blog world.  We look forward to sharing some creations with you over during the coming week.  We hope that you will stop back during the week and see our cards.

We'd love for you to stop by and visit us @ Shawnee's blog.

Busy in the craft room...

We'll we have been busy in the craft room & learning new things; thanks to the inspiration of some special friends (they know who they are).

Today we will show you our first attempts at our new craft project....altered composition notebooks!  Once one gets them down to a science; they go much faster.  Knowing your measurements help and having your paper cut out ahead of time is helpful too.  *Note- Different brands of notebooks may vary in size.

Recipe for our notebooks:

We used paper we had on hand already,
and we embellished the sides with ribbon and/or paper that we cut out with one of our punches.
