Cardz TV Card Designers Fall DT and Polka dots/Stripes...

I'm so excited to share that I'm part of the Cardz TV Card Designers fall design team.  Join us during our first challenge and create a card for any occasion using polka dots and stripes.   

Polka dots and stripes are fun to use on cards...have you used them together before?   Picking out the colors was the most difficult part of my card.  Which colors are you using?

Here is my design:

For my card base I used Kraft card-stock by Recollections for my base.  I used a decorative fold from Jamie Cripps, I used my striped papers from the DCWV Heirloom stack.  For the outside card mat I used my polka dot papers from the DCWV Guy stack.  

For my leaf cut out and base I used Recollections papers.  I edged the base with Stampin' Up ink and added some 3-M foam tape to lift it up.  I then added the leaf with some additional 3-M tape to add additional dimension.  The sentiment label is cut on the same paper as the leaf and edged with four dew drops.  I used "Thankful" from the Cardz TV -Many Thanks stamp set.  This card reminds me of fall back in the Midwest especially the fall foliage.
