Breast Cancer Blog Hop- 10/13

Welcome to our 1st annual Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop. We are so glad that you have decided to join us for this very important cause.  According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. And since there is currently no cure, early detection is crucial. You can do this by having yearly mammograms, yearly clinical breast exams, and regular self-breast exams.

This is the first time we've used a digi & markers when making a card. We couldn't resist when we found this digi. Our digi came from Doodle Pantry.

This card is especially in memory of our son's godmother, Julie. We also remember a co-worker I used to work with in KC. We honor Tracey a homeschool mom who starts treatment this month, Lynne a crafting friend, and my cousin Scott's mother-in-law. We pray for those who have, are, and will be touched by this disease. We also pray for a cure!

Recipe:  

• Cricut papers "purple/pinks" and also Mambi breast cancer stack were used.
• Stampin-Up: Regal Rose ink was used.
• Verve Breast Cancer stamps.
• Cricut Elegant Edges
• 3-D foam squares we had on hand.
• Prisma markers.
